Honey + Ginseng in a super luxurious formula from one of the most coveted brand from Korea, yes that's the topic of today's review, namely The History of Who - Honey Ginseng Sleeping Mask!

 

The History of Who is a brand owned by LG and is a super luxurious  brand, alla Sulwhasoo. The concept of both brands is a bit similar but the History of Who focuses even more on ingredients coming from the Korean traditional medicine while Sulwhasoo has a stronger emphasis on technology. The History of Who places themselves as the skincare brand of ancient queens and kings.  The pricepoint is quite high but you can still find a few products that are affordable like this honey gingseng sleeping mask (under 40 USD on jolse).

I reviewed some time ago some jumbo soothing pads from the brand JJOYY as well as their multipack of sheet masks and today I have the part 2 of the review. It includes the 2 other jumbo jars containing pads, namely the  Ice Centella Beauty Pads & Fermented Honey Bubble Peeling Pads.

 

I've already discussed about the brand HERE but quickly, JJOYY is a subbrand of WishFormula and they're known for their jumbo size pads that you can use on your face and body.

Here I am with a new K-beauty review. At the end of last year I had seen a new brand available at Jolse, namely JJOYY, and I was really curious by the products they offer. They have 4 versions of jumbo size jars packed with pads or masks! As I couldn't find any reviews on them, I decided to snatch the 4 versions to see how they perform and if they're worth it.

 

Cica products have been so popular since 1-2 years that almost every brand has come with their own line of cica products.

It's Skin had already released last year some products in their Tiger Cica line (a gel cream, a balm, a cushion) and this year they've extended the line with a calming serum and a foam cleanser. I wanted to try this line from It's Skin and when I saw they had a new serum, I didn't hesitate and got it. The foam cleanser came along in my shopping cart as I also like foam cleansers equipped with a pump.

Cica is the short name of Centella Asiatica (C-ica). Centella Asiatica is a fantastic plant for sensitive and acne-prone skin as it's soothing and wound-healing. I wrote a detailed article about it HERE if you want to know more about it.

I got this summer a few products from Dermatory and wanted to share my thoughts about them as I find them quite interesting!

I first saw the brand last spring and it immediately piqued my interest. I like the aesthetics of the brand, it has a vintage pharmacy look which appeals to me.

Dermatory is a Korean brand that belongs to Club Clio (Clio, Peripera, etc). They have 2 main lines: the Allantoin moisturizing line and the Azulene Cica line (soothing).

They mainly focus on soothing and hypoallergenic products and position themself as a brand for sensitive skin. They also advertise they products as being 20 free (talc, sulfate, surfactant, synthetic fragrance, parabens, ..., the whole list is here).

Today I have a review of a stick sunscreen from the Korean brand It's Skin.

It's Skin is one of those Korean brands that are super famous and that you can easily find either online or at Sephora. Sephora offers only a small range of their products though and typically this sunscreen is not available there. I got mine from Jolse.

 

 

 

Review of a cushion foundation I got recently and this might even be my all time favorite cushion foundation! This is O HUI Ultimate Cover Cushion Moisture!

 

This cushion is available in a regular packaging all year round but recently O Hui came up with a special set in collaboration with Asiana Airlines. I got it in June if I'm not wrong and I think it's a bit difficult to find it now as it was a limited edition. That said as I really love this cushion I wanted to review it here because you can still get the normal edition that is as I said one of my favorite cushion now!

 

Cleansers! oh...how I love cleansers! I think I like almost every type of cleansers but my favorites are oil and foam cleansers.

 

Today I have a review of Tony Moly Tako Pore All-In-One Cleansing Stick. You can find it online on K-beauty retailers and it's also available at Sephora.

 

Hi there! I have a super exciting line to show you today. It's from Innisfree and it's a brand new line focussing on artichoke and hydration!

 

In this line are 2 toners (a light and an intense version), 2 creams/gels (also in light and intense version) and a finishing balm. I got the 2 toners because I wanted to compare them, the light cream (wich is a watery gel) and the balm!

 

 

 

This Bio Ex Cell Peptide line from Tony Moly focuses on peptides as the name suggest but also on polyglutamic acid, niacinamide, crithmum maritimum callus culture filtrate and fullerene and you find these ingredients in all the products of the line. I decided to go for the ampoules because they seem to be the most concentrated in peptides. They’re actually pretty high in the ingredient list for such molecules so I was really excited to try them as so far I don’t have much experience with products containing or focusing on peptides.
