Clinique Chubby Plump & Shine Liquid Lip Plumping Gloss
12:22 AM
Did you know a new Chubby Stick had joined the iconic Chubby Stick family of Clinique? And it's all about glossy lips with the new Chubby Plump & Shine Liquid Lip Plumping Gloss!
When I heard about these new Chubby sticks I was super excited because I love the original chubby sticks as well as the chubby eyeshadow sticks!
If you want to know more about the Pep-Start line, I reviewed it HERE :D |
By the way the Take The Day Off Makeup Remover is a super efficient to remove makeup and particularly eye makeup and it's gentle!
If you are looking for fuller, more voluptuous lips, the new Chubby Plump & Shine Liquid Lip Plumping Gloss is for you! This is a high-shine gloss that makes lips appear fuller, smoother and more plumped.
There are eight shades ranging from nudes to violets and creams to pearls, lips. I actually had the chance to attend a blogger event where the new Chubby Plump & Shine were presented so I took some pictures and swatched the 8 available shades.
The gloss comes housed in a chubby twist up pencil that holds 3.9g/0.13 oz of product.
The texture is rather thick but non sticky and it feels lightweight. I don't find it particularly moisturizing, it can actually enhance dry patches a bit so it's better to exfoliate your lips before using it. I noticed that if you apply it with a brush, it's easier to get an ever layer and this way, even if you have dry patches they are not enhanced but rather smoothed.
Pigmentation is excellent and they're all so glossy! I really like that high gloss finish! They last a couple of hours on the lips and then you have to reapply.
I got 3 shades: 03 Portly Peach, 06 Jumbo Jem and 08 Va Va Va Violet. I'm usually not into coral shades but I must say that Portly Peach is my favorite! :D It's such a pretty color for spring!
Overall, I like them for their pigmentation, mirror-like shine (the red, 02 Super Scarlet is bomb!), they're rather easy to use and price-wise they're not bad (around 29 CHF in Switzerland).

DeleteCoucou !
