Xmas Look with piCture pOlish

Hi there,

In less than 2 weeks, it's Christmas! :D

I've decided to show you 2 manicures I did with my beloved Hercynia! Hercynia is my collaboration polish with piCture pOlish and because it's a forest green polish, I think it's perfect for the holidays. Don't you agree?

My collaboration shade with piCture pOlish!

Hi everyone!

Exciting news on Nailderella: it's time to show you my collaboration shade with piCture pOlish! ^v^)b My heart is beating a tattoo...literally...soooo excited!!

On June 5th, 2013 I got a mail by piCture pOlish starting by "Hi Karine, We hope you are well! Just a quick question would you like to collaborate on a shade with us? " :D

I had to read the mail 10 thousand times to believe what was happening! And I guess you can imagine how excited I was! It's been one year and half (such a long wait lol) and I'm thrilled to finally be able to introduce my collaboration shade, Hercynia!

piCture pOlish Blogger Fest 2014

Yay, it's this time of the year again! It's piCture pOlish Blogger Fest 2014 and I'm thrilled to be part of it!

This year is a bit special (oh yeah, it's special every year!) because the blogger fest consists in 2 parts. The first one is a swatch of a new piCture pOlish shade called Pandora in my case and the second one is a nail art with nail vinyls.

So let's start with the swatch of the amazing Pandora! It's a gorgeous purple packed with holographic scattered holographic particles. I used 2 coats of this beauty for my pictures.
That's such a beautiful polish, I can't stop falling in love with it!

The second part of the challenge was a bit tricky. We had to create a nail art with 2 piCture pOlish shades that we were given (Swagger and Love in my case) and with nail vinyls. The nail vinyls I got are the Right Angles nail vinyls from nailvinyls.com.

I started with piCture pOlish Swagger on my index, Essie Blanc on my middle and ring fingers, and piCture pOlish Love on my pinkie. I let everything dry for about 20-30 min and then applied the vinyls and used Swagger and Love to creat the different patterns!

I really enjoyed using these nail vinyls! If you tried some nail art with regular scotch tape and didn't manage to get a crisp and nice look, I definitely suggest that you try these nail vinyls. They're so easy to use and you can create so many awesome manicures! I really like how my pinkie turned out! :D

Hi everyone,

Last week I wore an awesome polish,i.e., piCture pOlish Imperial! I know it would be awesome but I blew my mind because it's even more beautiful than what I had imagined!

Imperial was created in collaboration with the talented Jeanette of the Swatchaholic. Imperial is described by piCture pOlish as follows: "Imperial is a majestic purple with scattered holo, blue glass flecks and a smattering of small gold hex glitters for added royalty!" piCture pOlish - Majesty

Hello,

Here is another great piCture pOlish. It's Majesty, which is one of the new collaboration shades that piCture pOlish recently launched. This one was created in collaboration with Sahrish Adell.

According to piCture pOlish:

Majesty was created with Sahrish from Sahrish Adeel's Blog and forms part of our Collaboration collection. Sahrish requested to create a shade that would be perfect for every occasion, every skin type, every age - basically everyone! And what a challenge that became however we never gave up! So that is what was fashioned! And yes with Majesty your nails will look perfect everyday... Majesty is a taupe/pink with micro gold sparks and holo (scattered) and has NO glitter. Majesty contains a holographic shimmer to create a shade just perfect for everyone for every occasion!

And I also wanted to try some nail art with Majesty. I used Essie Licorice (black) and some precut tape from essence, perfect to create easy and cute designs. The dots were made with a dotting tool I got from Born pretty store (see my review here, coupon code: AB5X31 to get 10% off your order).

Final verdict: Majesty is such a complex shade that it's getting difficult to describe it accurately. I would say that is has an overall pinky-coppery gold look, it's super spakly and also contains holo particles. Before putting it on, I didn't think much of it, but once it was on my nails, I could hear the birds singing and couldn't kept saying "wow"!

In these pictures, I used 3 coats. As you can see it's not completely opaque but I don't think it really matters. It rather gives it a lighter look.
