Today I have swatches of a new to me indie brand! It's Crazy Polish Lady, a Portuguese brand created by the lovely Sofia.

I have 6 polishes to show you and they come from 3 different collections.

 

The first collection created by Sofia is called "Colors are the music of my life" and is made of jellies packed  with holographic microglitters. I will show you Blood on the Dancefloor and Cosmic Love.

 

The second collection, "Memories in Colors", is inspired by Disney movies and is made of different jellies with metallic glitters. I will show you A whole new World (inspired by Aladdin) and Reflection (inspired by Mulan).

 

A finally the third collection is called "Summer is Up" is also made of jellies with metallic glitters. Here I have Another Mojito, please! and Summer Love to share with you.

 

 

 

 

Cadillacquer polishes are handmade polishes made in Switzerland by the talented Madeleine. Yay! I was very excited and happy when I heard that Cadillacquer is a Swiss  brand!

I received some Kardashian Beauty polishes from Global Beauty Secrets and today I'll show you Torrid, a gorgeous dark red jelly. The brand was called Khroma Beauty but they've just changed their name to Kardashian Beauty.

A crackle polish is making a comeback on my blog! But it's not a standard crackle I'm showing you today, it's a crocodile leather effect polish from Dior. It's called Golden Jungle and it's a duo made of a gold base polish and a khaki crocodile effect top coat. Both bottles hold 10 mL (0.33 FL.OZ) of polish.

This duo is part of Dior Golden Jungle collection for fall 2012.

How do you like sandwich manicures? I personnally like them a lot because they allow you to wear crazy glitters in a softer way!

For this manicure I used Candeo Colors South St., OPI Don't Touch My Tutu!, and Catrice Have An Ice Day. I started with 3 coats of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu!, then I applied 1 thin coat of Catrice Have An Ice Day, followed by 1 thin coat of Candeo Colors South St.. Finally I added 2 coats of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu! to sandwich the glitters from South St.

I added Have An Ice Day to create some tiny sparkles in the background of my nails but eventually they didn't show up in the final result. I should have used only 1 final coat of Don't Touch My Tutu! to see them but I prefered the look with 2 coats to tone down the glitters.

I've got another Haze Glaze polish to show you. This one is called Texas Walrus. This is  a new polish that has not been released yet, but if a lot of people are loving, it Hazel (the creator of Haze Glaze) will certainly start selling it.

This polish is a dark gray jelly full of glitters. They are gold, green, blue, and silver and are of different shapes! The polish can either be worn on its own with 3 coats or layered over a base color. I will show you both possibilities.

First I tried it on its own. 3 coats were necessary to reach full opacity.

I've got another Candeo polish to show you today. This is Orchid, a gorgeous fuchsia jelly packed with a multitude of glitters.

On the pictures below, I used 2 coats of Candeo - Orchid over bare nails (with base coat of course, and top coat).

Final verdict: Oh.my.god! This is my 2nd Candeo polish and I love it as much as the 1st one I've tried, Sprouse (you can see my review of this polish here). I love them so much that I've already passed another order!! Can you belive that on the pictures I didn't wear any base color. So what you see is Orchid by itself! It's a fuchsia jelly that is opaque in 2 coats. In fact, it was nearly opaque in 1 coat. I was blown away when I applied it and realized that it's a jelly but with a good opacity!! That might seem contradictory but here it is really the case! And because it is a jelly, the glitters are not eaten by the base but you can still see them very well!! Application was really easy. You can get a good amount of glitters on the brush, no need to go fishing for them and they spead well on the nails! This polish is really a treasure. Dare I say I want to lick my nails all the time when I'm wearing it because it's so yummy? oh yes, I dare!!

Do you remember the lovely green jelly packed with multicolored glitters and flakes I showed you a few days ago? It is a polish created by Karine who is opening her store tomorrow (1st of April)! If you missed my post about this gorgeous polish, you can view it here.

Today, I'll show you another polish from this new collection created by Karine. It's called "Pinot Noir".

All the following pictures are 3 coats of Karine's Pinot Noir over bare nails with one coat of top coat.

I first tried to layer it over my current mani, which was ManGlaze Fatty's Got More Blood. It looks pretty but I think it looks a little too "heavy" and was not completely satisfied with it. That's why I decided to use it on its own without any base color to have a jelly-look.

Here are the pictures of 1 coat of Pinot Noir over ManGlaze Fatty's Got More Blood.

Final verdict: Pinot Noir is a burgundy jelly polish packed with lots of fine multicolored glitters and flakes. The glitters are not the regular type of glitters. It's a bit difficult to distinguish them individually, they rather form a pretty sparkly pattern. The flakes are of different sizes and colors. They are a bit chunky so you will need to use a thick top coat to get a smooth look. I first layer it over a base color (ManGlaze Fatty's Got More Blood) but I think it looks a bit too heavy and I much prefer how it looks on its own with 3 coats over bare nails because I prefer the jelly look! Overall, I like this polish because it's really unique with its glitters and flakes!

I'm pleased to introduce you to a new indie brand of polishes created by the lovely Karine (not me :p). She created 10 different polishes, jellies packed with multicolored glitters and flakies, for the girls in her Birthday Club. The name of this 10 polish collection is by the way, the The Birthday Club Collection and each polish was specially made for one of the girl in her club.

Final verdict: What a perfect polish for spring! It's a green jelly that is easily buildable. You can wear it on its own. However, it's not full opaque but I think it looks great like this. Here I used 3 coats. If you prefer  a more opaque look, you can layer it over a mint color for example. But I think it looks more "aerial" and fresh when it's used on its own. This green jelly is packed with lots of fine multicolored glitters and flakes. The glitters are not the regular type of glitters. It's a bit difficult to distinguish them individually, they rather form a pretty sparkly pattern. The flakes are of different sizes and colors. They are a bit chunky so you will need to use a thick top coat to get a smooth look. Finally, I really like this polish because it's so fresh and spring-like and it's a very unique polish. I have never seen something like this before. So I take my hat off to Karine!
