Today I come back with a line that focuses on hydration and as you know, hydration is one of the most important things for me in terms of skincare and what I'm especially looking for. It seems that hydration has become a new marketing trend in the skincare world. Last year for example, Shiseido launched a new line called Waso that also has hydration as the main focus (reviewed here).

But today it's all about the new Aqua Réotier line from L'Occitane!

I was about to write a review of Swanicoco First Treatment Essence (FTE), but then I decided to write an Ingredient Focus article about its main ingredient as it seems you guys enjoy this type of posts :D I also like them because I like researching and writing about ingredients and skincare! 

The topic of this blog post is all about Bifida Ferement Lysate, the star ingredient of Swanicoco FTE and Estée Lauder Advance Night Repair.

Thoughts: I need the gold crocodile cracker polish!! I'm not a huge fan of crackle polishes but I love croco effects! The purple polish (I got the flower! what a name lol) is also lovely! And the purple blush is also very interesting! I might have to get this one! and finally, the lip pens are also attractive, aren't they? I've never tried such lip pens so it will be a nice occasion to try one of them!

And I also wanted to try some nail art with Majesty. I used Essie Licorice (black) and some precut tape from essence, perfect to create easy and cute designs. The dots were made with a dotting tool I got from Born pretty store (see my review here, coupon code: AB5X31 to get 10% off your order).

 

 

 

 

 

Final verdict: Majesty is such a complex shade that it's getting difficult to describe it accurately. I would say that is has an overall pinky-coppery gold look, it's super spakly and also contains holo particles. Before putting it on, I didn't think much of it, but once it was on my nails, I could hear the birds singing and couldn't kept saying "wow"!

In these pictures, I used 3 coats. As you can see it's not completely opaque but I don't think it really matters. It rather gives it a lighter look.

I am super excited to share some pictures of the new essence trend edition called "Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2"! I don't know if you're a Twilight fan but for me, I wasn't interested in this phenonemon until recently when I was searching for a book to read in the train and came across the first volum of the saga. I wasn't so into it at first but after reading some chapters, I really got interested and that's why I was really excited when I heard essence was launching a Twilight theme collection! At the moment I am reading the last book, I'm nearly at the end, and am looking forward to seeing the last movie!

I have another fun way to create a splatter manicure to share with you. Instead of using a straw and blow inside it to splatter polish onto your nails (see here), you can use a sample perfume bottle to spray the polish onto your nails!

 

I have to give credits to the Manicurator for the idea of the sprayer. Go and have a look at what she achieved because it's gorgeous! And the idea of using a mini perfume bottle goes to Claudia from Nailing This!

I shared some pictures of Shimmer polishes some days ago and told you it was part 1. So today, I'll show you the other polishes I got. If you missed my previous post, you can click here to see it.

Again, I used only 1 coat of glitter over a base color. If you want more opacity, you will need three coats to get full opactiy. Each polish is packed with tons of glitters!
