Tom Ford Boys lipsticks are iconic, aren't they? At the end of last year was released for the first time the Girls, 50 sensous lipsticks named after women important in Tom Ford's life.
Boys and Girls is a wardrobe of 100 clutchsized lip colors with names inspired by the individuals in Tom Ford's life!
The full lineup ranges in texture from cream, matte, and metallic to sheer and ultra-rich finishes, and can be layered or worn alone to suit every personality and every mood.
Ingredients include soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter, and chamomilla flower oïl to help create an ultra-creamy texture with an incredibly smooth application. Specialyl-treated pigments are blended to deliver pure color with just the right balance of opacity and luminosity.
Presented in a clutch-sized version of the original lip color case, the Boys remain in the iconic mahogany, while the Girls show their lighter side in ivory..
Among the Boys: 50 sahdes including 24 rich cream finishes (including 6 new shades), 16 sleek metallic finishes, and 10 matte finishes.
The Girls are all new shades including 25 sheer formulas, and 25 glossy, full coverage formulas.
I received 3 lipsticks to try, 2 Girls (Carine and Greta) and 1 Boy (Federico).
Carine is a light shimmery beige nude. It feels very creamy on the lips and moisturizing. It lasts about 3 hours on the lips before you need to reply. It's what I would call a perfect nude, at least for my skin tone. And I like the name of her :D
Greta is a soft shimmery pink. On the lips, it feels similar to Carine. This one is the one I've worn the most often of the 3 I have here. It's a very cute and easy to wear color. I really like it.
And finally Federico is bold and bright! This is a red-orange cream. It also feels very moisturizing on the lips and has quite a lot of slip but still stays on the lips pretty well. I would suggest using a lip liner underneath to be able to apply it perfectly.
