Labiotte might be a not so famous brand but I bet you have already heard about it. Yes, it's the brand that has launched lip tints in the form of a bottle of wine. They are mainly known for their wine-themed products (lip tints, eyeshadow palettes, balm cleanser, mascara etc), but this relatively new Korean brand also has a couple of skincare lines to offer. Today I have a review of one of their products from the Linden Blossom line, which is a line that promises to deliver deep moisture to your skin!

WHAT IS IT?
A deeply moisturising cream mist. Formulated as a milky liquid with linden blossom extract, it is dispensed as a fine mist to bring moisture to your skin whenever you need.
The mist is indeed fine and it’s OK to use it as a setting spray, too. I sometimes use it just after doing my makeup to make it a bit more dewy and glowy. I also use it in the evening when I get back home after going out of the shower or before going to bed to add an additional moisturizing step to my skin.

Scent: it has a soft creamy flowery scent that isn't strong. Creamy flowery doesn't really makes sense, I know but it has a "cream scent" with a faint flowery background.

INGREDIENT ANALYSIS
This mist is formulated with:
- Solvents (water, Methylpropanediol)
- Skin conditioning agents and emollients (Triethylhexanoin, Hydrogenated Poly(C6-14 Olefin)) => moisturizing
- Humectant (Pentylene Glycol) => hydrating
- A bunch of botanical extracts, such as kava (soothing but can cause skin sensitivity), lotus (soothing, antioxidant), linden (antioxidant), elm (soothing), amaranth (emollient), marjoram(antiseptic but can cause skin sensitivity), Damask rose (soothing, antioxidant), etc. Other interesting plant extracts with soothing properties are mallow, sage, coneflower, calendula, and chamomile. So a lot of soothing and antioxidant extracts, but a couple of plants (kava, marjoram, eucalyptus, oregano) that can be sensitizing if you have sensitive skin. So as usual, if you have sensitive skin, patch test before using it liberally on your face.
- At the end of the ingredient list, you have some stabilizers, preservatives and some cereamides (ceramides NP, 2), Cholesterol, Phospholipids, and Phytosphingosine, which are ingredients interesting to strengthen and help repair the skin barrier, but they’re present in low amount.
THOUGHTS
So this mist is more emollient and nourishing that a traditional mist. Most mists (such as MAC Fix + for example) are composed of water, glycerin, butylene glycol that makes them mainly hydrating. Here, you have more emollient ingredients, which is why I think this is a great mist to use in winter. It doesn’t feel sticky on the skin and the mist is quite fine so overall, I really enjoy it. As I said at the begining of this post, I use it after putting on my makeup to refresh and moisturize the skin because I find that it sinks in the skin fast and deeply moisturizes it or in the evening after going out of the shower or just before going to bed.

I'm so happy you've published this post, I wanted to check Labiotte Linden series for couple months but I couldn't find any reviews. The ingredients aren't the best but at least this mist contains ceramides which my skin needs the most now. I didn't know jolse has Labiotte :)
