NEW Pure Color Envy Lipsticks

If you're a lipstick addict, you probably already know Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy because they're truly amazing in terms of comfort, pigmentation and colors. If you want to know more about these lipsticks and the different ranges Estée Lauder has, you can read my previous summary article HERE.

For Spring, new colors have been launched and I have 2 of them here to show you :D

The new colors in the regular Envy line are: Vain Vanilla, Off Beet, Nude Cult, Out Of Control, Uninhibited, Noirish, Power Grab, Prowl.

The new High Lustre are: Naked Truth, Dark Desire, Melon, Intense Emotion, Lava, Lies & Kisses, Lure Me On, Plum Bite.

431 Lure Me On belongs to the Hi-Lustre range of the Envy family. The Hi-Lustre are as creamy and comfortable as the regular Envy lipsticks except their formula contains shimmer. Lure Me On is a deep berry shade with blue shimmer. It has medium coverage, you can apply one layer to add a super pretty and cute light berry color to your lips (I've been wearing it so often lately like that, I just love the color so much!) or you can apply it full on with 2 layers (what you see on my swatch below). The color is very rich and deep and although the color can look intimidating in the bullet, it's very easy to wear it! My go-to color at the moment! :D It typically lasts ~6 hours on  me (didn't expect that for a creamy lipstick!) and leaves a pink stain behind. Oh yeah, you can't feel the shimmer, the particles are so tiny so nothing to worry about that, it feels comfortable and it is not drying at all.

231 Power Grab is a bright cool-toned pink. It's very pigmented, you need only one layer to get full coverage. It's on the moisturizing-side, doesn't emphasize dry patches and lasts about 5 hours on me. It's a color I'll wear more often this summer, at the moment I've been so into Lure Me On, that I haven't worn this one as much but I still love the color (cool-toned pinks are my jam)!

Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Eye Mask

The Advanced Night Repair (ANR) has a new family member and the Recovery Eye Mask! This mask consists of 2 patches that are supposed to rejuvenate the look and feel of your eyes after the stresses of modern life—from long days to lack of sleep, even pollution.

Instantly, your eye area feels cool and refreshed. In just 10 minutes, eyes look more rested, renewed fine, dry lines are plumped as skin is drenched with hydration. Eyes look radiant, infused with luminous youth

To use it, you just have to apply each patch on clean skin, once a week at night. You can also use it in the morning if you prefer. The serum and the patches are separated in the pouch and you have to press the liquid chamber to break the seal and release the serum on the pads. After "massaging" the pocket for a minute to ensure the pads are fully saturated in product, you can open the pouch and apply the pads under your eyes. They can be kept on for about 10 minutes.

Revitalizing Supreme+ / Global Anti-Aging Cell Power Eye Gelée

This multi-action, fatigue-fighting eye treatment improves visible firmness and reduces the look of lines, wrinkles and puffiness. It also brightens the look of dark circles. Moreover, the cooling massage tip helps reinvigorate the eye area!




First the massage tip is made of metal and is therefore cooling, perfect to de-puff your under eye area. That's the exact reason why I love using it AM! And the cream itself is light-weight yet moisturizing. It contains a bunch of antioxidant and anti-inflammtory ingredients, also some humectants including sodium hyaluronate;  present are also cholesterol and phytosphingosine, important players in the regulation of the skin barrier homeostatis. I found the ingredient lists on EL website here. Overall the cream is great to moisturize and protect the under eye area without being too rich or thick. And for sure the metal applicator is like the cherry on the cake ;)



Estée Lauder has released 3 new primers: The Smoother Universal Perfecting Primer, The Mattifier Shine, and the Illuminator Radiant Perfecting Primer + Finisher.



The Smoother Universal Perfecting Primer is perfect for all skin types, The Mattifier Shine for oily and normal skin, and The Illuminator Radiant Perfecting Primer + Finisher is the best friend's of dry to normal skin types.




I got the Smoother Universal Perfecting Primer and have been using it for a few weeks now. Ìt is infused with skin-softening apricot essence and optically perfects skin, diffusing the look of pores and imperfections. It leaves the skin with a smooth and even texture. Yes, I agree with the smooth and even finish and it makes the skin soft. It's a silicone-based primer that does the job perfectly and help your foundation lasts longer. I usually don't really like silicone-based primers but this one seems a little bit different maybe because of the apricot essence? but I have the impression it's more moisturizing than other similar primers and a bit more liquid. It's not heavy at all. It's also super quickly absorbed by the skin and doesn't leave any residue, the skin feels like if you had nothing on. So in that sense, I like it, a lot. I would be very curious to try the illuminating primer!

These are rather large makeup wipes that are gentle and instantly remove long-wear and waterproof makeup. At the press presentation, I swatched on my whole arm the new EL lipsticks (more info coming soon about them!) and I were able to remove them all in one swipe with one of these wipes, I was impressed! :D They are super efficient and are gentle (for example I find them more gentle and efficient that Clinique's Pep-Start  Quick Cleansing Swipes).
