Hi everyone,

I was thinking about a new category of articles and came up with the following idea (#exciteeeed)! When you're new to a brand or when you start getting more interested in a particular product type, it can be difficult to find exactly what you're looking for. For example, each brand has so many lipstick lines that it can easily get confusing. That's why I decided to briefly show and describe each line of lipsticks that Estée Lauder is carrying at the moment! I start with Estée Lauder because it's a brand that I love and I've tried almost all their different types of lip products :D

For this article, I'll focus on the Pure Color Envy lipsticks of Estée Lauder! They also have a Pure Color/Pure Color Crystal line but it's an older line so I'll skip it.

Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick - Intense, lip-shaping color: is a creamy, pigmented and long-wearing lipstick. It has an hydrating formula and a natural satin/creme finish. It feels comfortable on the lips and is full coverage.

Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Shine Lipstick - Brilliant shaping color: is a creamy, glossy, and hydrating lipstick full of saturated color and shine that illuminates lips in one stroke. The difference with the Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick is not huge, it's slightly more glossy, creamy, and slightly more sheer (semi-opaque).

Pure Color Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick - Statement-making creme matte color  : is a creamy matte and super comfortable lipstick, it does not feel dry on the lips. It's opaque in 1 swipe. If you like matte lips but don't like matte lipsticks that suck out the moisture of your lips, this range is for you!

Pure Color Envy Hi-Lustre Light Sculpting Lipstick -Transforms lips with lustrous color, brilliant shine: it promises to saturate the lips with lustrous color and sculpt them wiht light to make them look fuller and healthier. It has a lustre finish with a pretty shine. I took a picture of me wearing Naked Ambition, I'll post it on IG very soon!

Pure Color Envy Ombré Lip Effects - One lipstick. Two enviable colors: The bullet is split in 2 colors to easily create ombré lips. The formula is supposed to be more or less similar to the Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks but I haven't tried any of them yet.

Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion - Fluid lipcolor with lipstick's potent effect: is a creamy, moisture–rich formula that goes on liquidy but it dries down to a satin finish. It's not transfer-proof, it has a moussy texture and a delicious cake scent (at least it seems so for me). Some of the colors can stain the lips.

Pure Color Envy Vinyl LipColor - Transforms lips with a bold lacquered effect: Wild with color. Wet with moisture. Soaked in vinyl shine. That's exactly that! The color is saturated and is super glossy, one of the most glossy lip products I have. And for Ripe (the color I have, which is a darkish plump color) the combo of the "dark-ish" color plus glossy look is just stunning and unique! It stains the lips and lasts +++. It's actually a rich glossy tint that is not drying.

Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lacquer - High-impact color with the power to shape and magnify: is an hydrating lacquer that immediatly saturate the lips in rich, lasting color with a mirror-like shine. It's not sticky. For info, the old Estée Lauder lacquers (with the gold cap) were sticky and not that comfortable but these ones are totally different. It is a creamy lacquer.

Pure Color Envy Sculpting Gloss - Shape. Sculpt. Shine. Lips to Envy: Multi-dimensional optics help create magnified-looking volume for lips with a fuller, enviable effect.Glide on this hydrating gloss for smooth, lasting shine that starts with a subtle hint of color and builds to the intensity you desire. Immediately, lips are moisturized with no stickiness. I haven't tried any of these yet but swatched some at the Estée Lauder press event here.

Pure Color Envy Lip Volumizer - Plumps, hydrates, smooths the look of lips: Lips look and feel fuller with a healthy, revitalizing hint of fresh color. Formulated with a blend of hyaluronic spheres to help moisturize, smooth and plump the lips. It goes on clear, then turns to a rosy glow that revives liptone.

Blooming Lip Balm - Moisturizes with a touch of revitalizing color: Glides on smoothly for lips that look and feel refreshed with a revitalizing surge of moisture. Instantly, this luxuriously lightweight balm melts on for a sensually soft, satin finish. Lips bloom with a touch of healthy lip-tone pink. I haven't tried it so I can't really say anything about it :p
