Zoya Urban Grunge

12:36 AM

Hi there!

Another nail polish post :D and it's all about Zoya and the Urban Grunge collection that was released for fall/winter last year. This collection consists in 12 polishes split into 2 finishes: there are 6 one-coat creams and 6 metallic holos!

I won't do much talking because there are lots of swatches.

August is described as a full coverage gray like a fine, expensive leather wit mid-ranged, balanced tone.
Used 1 coat.

Courtney is described as a deep red beet root shade with a full coverage, and smooth application.
It's a jelly so it's more sheer. It requires 2-3 coats to get full coverage.

Mallory is described as a full bodied, Prussian blue withdeeply saturated color.
Used 1 coat. It's so pigmented, that's impressive. For info, it doesn't stain the nails.

Noah is a mid-range taupe evenly balanced between yellow and grey, with a full coverage and smooth application.
Used 1 coat.

Tara is described as a purple plum with a balanced tone between red and purple. Deeply saturated, full coverage, smooth application.
I used 2 coats here but you could go away with only 1.

Wyatt is described as a true racing green with a deep pigment, full coverage, and smooth application.
I used 2 coats here but you could go away with only 1.

Alicia is described as a linear holo with a touch of gold. Smooth application with an elegant 2 coat coverage.
Used 3 coats.

Ash is described as a vibrant cherry with a red and gold metallic shimmer. Densely pigmented, smooth application.
Used 1 coat! It's super pigmented. It's a gorgeous color!

Britta is described as a berry metallic with a red and purple fuchsia flash. Densely pigmented, smooth application.
Used 2 coats.

Finley is described as a deep royal purpe scattered holo. Smooth application with an elegant 2 coat coverage.
Used 2 coats.

Merida is described as a brilliant lush evergreen scattered holo. Smooth application with an elegant 2 coat coverage.
Used 2 coats. IN-LOVE-WITH-THIS-ONE!

Troy is described as a liquid pewter with a foil finish and an edgy touch of black and gold. Densely pigmented, smooth application.
It's opaque in 1 coat, I added a second coat to add depth.

Impressed! Impressed is the word that comes to my mind when I think about this collection. It's just stunning and the formula of all the polishes is inceredible! The creams are really pigmented - I tried some of them for stamping and yes, they work! I'll have some nail art to show you that very soon!
I also love Zoya scattered holos and I really like Ash! What about you? :D
