The last post I wrote was all about Dior and guess what? The Dior festival continues because I have two new products to show you that were released this summer/fall: Dior Flash Luminizer / Radiance Booster Pen and the new Dior fragrance: Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming!

The in-house perfumer Francois Demachy announced Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming as the Edition of Miss Dior that opens with bright fruity notes, intended for cheerful women who love life.

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is a new olfactory variation of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, designed as a sexier, more passionate and more modern scent. The hot pink color of the liquid matches the delicious floral character. The composition is comprised of three layers: red berries, Centifolia May rose from Grasse and peony, as well as white musk.

In all sincerity, Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming has to be one of my all time favorite perfumes! It smells delicious, girly but at the same time feminine, luscious, and mature. It's sweet but not overly sweet, it's not at all cloying or heavy. It's also very fresh and bright at the same time. And of course, there is this devine rose scent that comes to play and give such an elegant touch. It's also completely appropriate for both daytime and night. I highly recommend to try it!

Flash Luminizer - Radiance Booster Pen

Inspired by the lighting techniques used by Backstage makeup artists, Dior has created Flash Luminizer, the illuminator brush that enhances the complexion in a single click, for professional radiance.

Flash Luminizer magnifies the complexion in one click. This fabulous pen is a light-booster and concealer that sculpts the face, illuminates shadowy areas, lessens signs of fatigue, revives the eyes and shapes the contours of the lips.

3 application tips:

• Open up the eyes: apply on the mobile eyelid, beneath the brow arch and at the outer corner of the eye.
• Sculpt: apply on the forehead, bridge of the nose, tip of chine and top of cheekbones.
• Brighten: apply on dark areas of the face (undereye circles, hollow of chin and wings of nose) or around the lips to redefine their contour.

Available in 3 neutral tones that blend seamlessly into all complexions and in 2 shades enhanced with pearly luminizers for a quick strobing effect by adding touches of light to the cheekbones, the cupid’s bow and the bridge of the nose.

I've been using the Flash Luminizer for a few months now and I have to say that it's a fantastic multitasker! It provides enough coverage to cover dark circles (that's how I mainly use it) but also brighten the area where you applied it - think of it as a brightening concealer. I also love using it to clean up fall out or mistakes I made with my eyemakeup or lipstick application. It works also great to clean up the edges of your eyedshadows to make crisp lines and add definition. I'm not 100% sure but I guess the Flash Luminizer is an upgraded formula of Dior Skinflash but I can't really see any difference between the 2. They seem identical to me (cf pictures below both in shade 002).
