Pop-up store Urban Decay – Lausanne

Hi guys! Last Thursday (yesterday in fact :D ) I had the pleasure to get a VIP invitation from FeminaSuisse for the opening of the pop-up store of Urban Decay in Lausanne at Place St François, 5! How lucky :D and thanks a million to Femina!

The store opens September 10th until the end of December 2016. It’s a 60m2 store where beauty addicts and makeup artists can meet and learn lots of makeup tricks. Two makeup artists will always be present at the store to give customers valuable advice. It is also possible to privatize the store for a special event or makeup classes. The store features also a giant screen and a selfie booth.

For this private event organized by Femina, we were 10 lucky followers of Femina who were chosen to attend a makeup class by Urban Decay makeup artists. We learnt how to master a smokey eye and were able to test some of the available makeup. This was so much fun, especially considering that I met other sweet bloggers (Macha from FeatherandBrushes, Roberta from Réglisse et Myrtille, and Alexia from Lexie).  Thanks a lot FeminaSuisse for this awesome opportunity and thank you to the super sweet Urban Decay team! The only “inconvenient” now is that I want The Naked 3 palette, Solstice mono, and a couple of the Vice lipsticks :D

About the brand:
Pink, red, and beige tones dominated the beauty industry palette until the mid-1990s. In 1995, Sandy Lerner and Pat Holmes mixed raspberry and black to form a new color, which they named Urban Decay. Then, they decided to form a cosmetics company. Launched in January 1996, it offered a line of ten lipsticks and 12 nail polishes. Their color palette was inspired by the urban landscape, with names such as Roach, Smog, Rust, Oil Slick, and Acid Rain. Now it's one of the most popular brands among makeup addicts!
