Colors by Llarowe - Summer 2014

Hello~

Today I have swatches of the new Colors by Llarowe polishes for summer 2014! This collection is huge, it consists of 35 polishes! There are holo, glitters, shimmers and jellies! In this post, I'll show you the shimmer and microglitter polishes!

Just for info, for every polish, the last macro shot reflects how the polish looks on the nails. It's not a bottle picture.

Connie's Nosy Neighbor - Royal blue jelly base with pink shimmer.
I used 2 coats. The base can look more blue or purple depending on the lightening. The shimmer is really strong. Very unique, very beautiful!

Alternate Universe - Turquiose crelly base with strong lime green shimmer.
Normally I'm not so fond of metallic shimmery teal but I just loved this one so much on the nails. I felt like a mermaid~ I'm going to wear it as a full manicure soon!
I used 2 coats.

Holiday Road - Lime green neon jelly base with strong red to gold shimmer.
I wouldn't call the base a true neon but it's quite bright indeed. The shimmer in this one is amazing, too! It's such a unique polish. I've never seen something like this before! love it!
I used 3 coats and you can slightly see some visible nail line.

Purple Is My Crack - Blurple jelly base with holo micro glitters.
Oh.My.God! I'm in love with this polish! It's super sparkly but soft and very wearable at the same time! It's one of my favorites from this collection!
I used 3 coats. Good point: the microglitters don't eat the top coat, i.e. you don't have to apply 10 coats of top coat to tame the glitters. It dries quite smooth.

Independance Day - Deep royal blue jelly base with holographic micro glitters.
The base color is just gorgeous and it's super sparkly. It's slightly more opaque than Purple Is My Crack. I used 2 coats. Top coat is mendatory here because it dries with some texture. You may need 2 coats of top coat to get a smooth surface. Here I used just 1 coat of top coat.

Beautiful Disaster - Clear base with assorted micro and holographic micro glitters.
I used 3 coats to reach full opacity. It reminds me of the OPI Burlesque glitter polishes! Top coat is mendatory for this polish because it dries with some texture. You may need 2 coats of top coat to get a smooth surface. Here I used just 1 coat of top coat.

Mystery & Mayhem - Teal jelly base with holo micro glitters.
It's the teal version of Independance Day, super deep and gorgeous! I used 2 coats.

Aliens & Out Laws - Strong linear silver holo base with assorted holo micro glitters and tiny black hex.
You can either use 1 coat of it over a base color or  2-3 coats to reach full opacity.

For the following pictures, I used 1 coat over bare nails.

It was quite a long post! :D How do you like these polishes?
I really like this colleciton, there are so many drop-dead-gorgeous polishes in there! And can you imagine this collection also contains holo and neon jellies? Stay tuned because I'll show you the rest of the collection soon!

PS: As I'm writing this article, I'm falling asleep. So sorry if you find some typos or silly things lol
