Gwen Stefani for OPI - the matte polishes
6:44 PM
Hello,
I hope you've started the year wonderfully!
Today I have swatches of 2 polishes from the new OPI collection, Gwen Stefani for OPI!
4 in the morning - "This dramatic, satin black is a hit at after-parties."
As described by OPI, 4 in the morning is a gorgeous semi-matte black polish. It has an awesome formula and dries very fast. I absolutely adore this polish! I'm in the mood for darker colors and this one is just perfection! I've already worn this polish twice since I got it, which means a lot!
I used 2 coats for the swatches.
I also wore it with some pink rhinestones. I just applied some top coat on the backside of the rhinstones to stick them on the nails (they lasted 24-48h). I didn't apply top coat on the whole nails to keep the matte finish.
Love.Angel.Music.Baby. - "This matte gold with satin sheen complements all your passions."
Love.Angel.Music.Baby is a gold semi-matte polish. It's absolutely stunning! It's matte but you can still see some gorgeous shimmer in it. The gold is not too yellow, just like I like it! I used 2 coats.
And finally, I combined both polishes (because I wanted to wear them again :D )!
I'm in LOVE with both polishes! In my opinion, they're both must-have polishes! The semi-matte effect is just stunning and makes your manicure so elegant!
I also got OPI RapiDry spray and OPI Natural Nail Base Coat. I've been using the base coat for a few weeks and so far I love it. It dries fast, seems to prevent nail discoloration well (at least until now), and prevents polish from chipping too fast. By the way, this is not a ridge filler or growth promoter base coat. I will continue using it and tell you what I think about it in a few weeks again! Concerning the RapiDry spray, it does its job very well. It's a pump spray that you mist on your nails about 45 seconds after your last coat of polish. I've just swatched a nail polish collection and used it before taking photos. It helped a lot because I tend to smudge the polish on my pinkie when I swatch but no problem this time :D
