Ozotic Mish Mash collection: Swatches, comparison and review!
11:14 PMHello~
As promised here is a comparison post between the 4 different polishes from the new Ozotic Mish Mash collection!
I already swatches every polish separately and as some polishes are close to each other, a direct comparison is an intesreting way to distinguish them, I believe.
If you missed the different reviews, you can click on the links below.
- Ozotic 531: shifts from rusty copper to gold, to purple, and even to green at certain angles + holo!
- Ozotic 532: shift from teal to blue-silvery blue and to purple + holo!
- Ozotic 533: shifts from silvery blue, to a warmer blue to purple and green + holo!
- Ozotic 534: shifts from royal blue to royal purple and can also take some pink, lilac and copper shades+ holo!
All polishes in this collection are meant to be layered over a base color because they are sheer! You cannot achieve full opacity even if you apply several coats. For the following swatches, I used 2 coats of A-England Lancelot and then 2 coats of Ozotic.

Let's go to the swatches!
L-R: 531, 532, 533, and 534. |

Down-up: Ozotic 531, 532, 533, 534. |
In the upper picture, you can see the difference between all the polishes IMO. #532 and #533 are still really close but you can see a small difference between them in terms of blue tones.
Down-up: Ozotic 531, 532, 533, 534. |

Here also you can distinguish (not easly, I admit) #532 and #533. #533 has a more prononced teal/green part than #533. #533 is more of a pure blue polish. But again, this is rather subtle.

In the following picture, I focussed on #532, #533, and #534. To simplify, #532 is has more teal undertones, #533 blue , while #534 purple.
If you go up in the picture: 532, 533, and 534. |

Final verdict: That's a great collection since most of polish addicts love multichrome and holographic polishes. So here you have both effects in a single polish. That's a brilliant idea! Don't forget that all these polishes are sheer and thus meant to be layered over a base color. #531 and #534 are the most unique polishes because they really have their own color shift. #532 and #533 are really close and it's quite difficult (or even nearly impossible) to distinguish them. I think this is the only drawback of this collection. So unless you're a total polish addict, I wouldn't recommand buying #532 and #533 at the same time. If you have one of them, it's enought IMO. However, this collection is really a winning collex because the polishes are really original and so much fun! You've got a really stong holographic effect and moreover, your polish keep changing colors! Amazing!
