With its summer 2019 collection, Nars helps to reveal a smoldering summer glow with 2 limited edition face palettes and 2 lip sets.

Each palette adds an instant warmth and radiance to cheeks and eyes with a complementary highlighter, bronzer , and 4 eyeshadows.

 

The palettes are the Summer Lights Face Palette (the one I have here) and the Hot Nights Face Palette.

I absolutely love this palette. The texture of the eyeshadows is perefection! Seriously Nars keep releasing amazing eyeshadow palettes (see here and here), I am really impressed. The shadows almost blend themselves and therefore are super easy to work with. They're not very powdery and I didn't experience any fall out.

The highlighter and bronzer are also super smoother and the colors give such a natural beautiful glow! Honestly, if you like the colors, don't hesitate because the quality of the powders is amazing.

 

And oh I forgot, the packaging is also gorgeous. There is a super effect on the lid. It looks like there is a top layer of glass on it, it looks super glossy and really nice!

Velvet Matte Lip Pencils

 

The Velvet Matte Lip Pencils are perfect for lining, defining, and filling the lips. They deliver the impact of a bullet matte lipstick but with the precision of a pencil. The texture has again the right consistency, it's emollient enough to glide on the lips, but not too much to feel greasy or weird.

Since a few years I'm a fan of the velvet matte lip pencils. I find them really convenient to use and they do deliver lots of pigments. They look matte but don't feel drying. Honestly, they have a beautiful texture.

They're now available in 32 shades. There are 4 new shades: Take Me Home (tan rose), Promiscuous (pink orchid), Good Times (warm beige nude), Dance Fever (rose).

 

 

 

 

Satin Lip Pencils

 

These are similar to the velvet matte lip pencils except they offer a satin finish with a silky effect. They're more creamy that the velvet matte pencils and have a more hydrating formula.

I don't think I've tried the satin lip pencils yet but I will have to, they sound great!

They're now available n 20 shades. There are 4 new shades: Balboa (rose brown), Exbury (light pink rose), Giusti (mauve nude pink), Golden Gate (pink lilac).
