Based on, and inspired by the wild grasses that grow in the heart of Provence, HERBAE par L’OCCITANE is a green, fresh and floral fragrance. It's the embodiment of nature in all its authenticity and simplicity.

 

 

 

Citrusy and spicy head notes of bergamot and pink pepper give way to an intrepid, enthralling heart in which wild rose encounters the sharpness of bramble, evoking the scents of a stroll through the forest. Finally, the fragrance settles into a base of sweet vernal grass, its warm and coumarin notes tinged with honey and accentuated by woody and spicy undertones of cashmeran. Its musky facets are enhanced by a touch of musk, giving the ensemble a beautiful roundness.

 

Top notes: Ambrette Seed, Vert de Bergamot Essence, Pink Peppercorn

Heart notes: White Nettle Flower Accord, Wild Rose Accord, Bramble Accord, Clary Sage Essence

Base notes: Wild Grass, Captive Musk, Cashmeran.

 

 

 

 

My thoughts

I must say that with the spring/summer weather, I really enjoy fresh scents. Here what I can immediately smell is the grass aspect of the nettle flower and the touch of bergamot. Everything is then rounded by a spicy and woody touch that brings more depth and sensuality.

 

I started using the shower gel because I always really like fragrance-based shower gels. They feel like a little bit of luxury and make my shower sessions even more enjoyable. I also really enjoy the body milk. I must say that this is definitely a great spring/summer companion. What I like doing: having it on my office desk and using it in the afternoon to refresh. You know, when you start feeling tired around 4pm and need to do something to stay efficient, my go-to now is a coffee and reapplying this body milk. It immediately refresh my thoughts (and moisturizes my skin, of course ;D ) and that's why I really like it!
