Pixi Beauty - Lash & Line Love
2:12 PM
Hi everyone!
I've recently received a huge package from Pixi containing some of their best eye products. Pixi is a brand that has always interested me mainly because of their skincare products that seem simply great, but the brand was difficult to get in Switzerland. That's why I haven't tried that many products from them. But....since a few months the brand is available at Marionnaud and that's such great news for Swiss makeup junkies! Yay~
Pixi was created by Petra Strand over 10 years ago and launched in their flagship boutique in Soho, London. The brand is famous for their awakening & skin-loving products that create a naturally radiant "just had a good night's sleep" look. They also have a makeup range that is being more and more popular.
Large Lash Mascara
This mascara comes with an oversized brush that delivers extreme volume and intense colour. With one coat, it already gives much volume and provides a deep black color. I always use 2 coats and it separates the lashes well without clumping. It stays put all day and doesn't buldge. That's of course something I really like about it. No crumbles or panda eyes by the end of the day.
Black Lacquer Lash Primer
It's a prep step for fuller lashes. It's a black formula that can also be used on its own for a subtler look or for no-makeup makeup looks. The applicator can be used as a comb to define the lashes better.
It can be used as a primer before mascara (to give more volume) or after the mascara to help separate the lashes even better.
I've used it both ways, sometimes on its own for no makeup days and sometime as a base before mascara to boost the mascara. I also think it's super convenient for lower lashes because the brush is small.
Lash Line Ink
Deep black ink liner applies flawlessly, featuring a waterproof, non-feathering, quick-drying formula. Flexible precision tip makes it easy to apply directly into lash line for extra definition - perfect for a natural look or full-on cat eye.

This liner gives a super deep (!) black line and has a very fine tip perfect to create precise liner looks. When I first got it I absolutely loved it because I found it so easy to use. Moreover it doesn't budge! But after 1-1.5 month it started to dry a bit and now I have to apply 2 layer to get enough pigmentation and I find a bit more difficult to use (note that I am not an eyeliner expert). I still now use it to add depth at the roots of my lashes. I just draw a few dots to intensify the lash line and I think it looks fab this way.
If you're looking for an easier eyeliner to use, I think the new Dior eyeliners glide easier on the lid (reviewed here), but on the contrary this Pixi liner works better when you want to just add some dots at the root of the lashes to subtly intensify them.
Eye Define Waterline & Eye Bright Liner
The Eye Define Waterline a retractable waterproof slim liner with an intense black, no-smudge colour payoff. I find it Indeed very deep and intense. The liner is creamy and glide easily. That's a great black eyeliner imo!

The Eye Bright Liner is equally creamy. You can use on the lower inner eye rim for instant awake looking eyes. This is a super trick to make your eyes look bigger, too!
Endless Silky Eye Pens (22 colors)
These eye pencils are a dream. Seriously, they're super creamy but don't budge. Once you've applied them, they take 2sec to set and then they don't move at all. You can rub, rub, rub and rub and they'll stay put no matter what.
