Essie Off The Wall - Neon 2017
9:20 PM
Hi everyone,
Here I am with nail polish swatches and it's all about summer and bright colors with the new neon collection of Essie called "Off the Wall"!
This collection contains 4 neon nail polishes plus a white base coat, the Prime & Pop base coat.
The 4 neon polishes have a jelly finish and require a white base color to make them pop and look even more neon and amazing! :D They all dry matte and you need a top coat if you want to make them shiny.
Mark On Miami is a neon orange.
I used 2 coats over the Prime & Pop white base coat. It has a jelly texture easy to work with.
Gallery Gal is a coral-pink neon.
Again, it has a jelly finish and I used 2 easy coats over the Prime & Pop white base coat.
Off The Wall is a bright cool toned-pink.
I used 2 coats over the Prime & Pop white base coat, it was easy to work with.
The Fuchsia of Art is a gorgeous purple neon.
I used 2 coats over the Prime & Pop white base coat. This one was more difficult to work with, it was a bit patchy and I think it would look more even with 3 coats. That said, the more coats you add, the darker it gets, that's why I stopped at 2 coats. I really like the color of this one!
Finally I also did a nail art with all the colors of this colllection :D I used Moyou London image plate (Pro 012) to create the pattern using the reverse stamping technique.
How do you like neon polishes? I think they look super fun for summer!

I personally not into neon polishes, its just don't go with my skin tone. But they look great on you.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I know not everyone likes neon polishes...! An idea: you could use it subtly in a simple nail art like drawing a line on an accent nail, it would look cool ;)
