Be Dior

10:59 PM

Hello,

I hope you all had a  nice weekend :D

Today I have swatches of some new Dior products: one of the new Dior Addict Lipsticks and its matching nail polish.

Be Dior - 892 is gorgeous shimmery plum with rasperberry undertones. The shimmer is clearly visible when the polish is wet  or when you add a high shine top coat otherwise it's rather subtle.
As with all Dior polishes, it has a super nice consistency that is very easy to work with. I used 2 coats for the swatches below.
OK but now can we take 2 minutes to rave about how gorgeous this color is? It's just so so so so pretty! plum-perfection!

As you probably already know (otherwise read it here), Dior has just reformulated their Dior Addict lipsticks. First, the packaging is a bit different, it looks slimmer and more modern in a very elegant way. And there is a magnet in the cap to close the lipstick. Second, the formula has been improved and features a long-lasting topcoat-in-one formula with a ‘Hydra-Gel Topcoat‘ in the form of the Christian Dior logo that runs throughout the entire length of the bullet. The core of the bullet features a Triple Oil Complex to boost the shine of the lipstick and to moisture the lips.

Be Dior is a plum with rasperberry undertones. It looks darker in the tube than on the lips. On the lips, it definitely looks more rasperberry than plum. It's semi-opaque and has a better color payoff than what a quick swatch on the back of your hand indicates. It gives a very fresh and innocent look. I really like it! It lasts about 5 hours and is moisturizing. It's very comfortable to wear, almost like a lip balm.

So what do you think of the new Dior Addict Lipsticks and Be Dior nail polish? Have you tried the new Addict lipsticks or are you planning to try some of them?
As I really like the texture and feel of Be Dior, I want to try others, e.g. a coral, a red and a darker one :D
