Dior Fall 2015 - Cosmopolite Collection (Part 2)
5:21 PMHello~
As promised I have additional products from the new Dior collection for fall called Cosmopolite to show!
I've already shared my thoughts about some items from this collection last week (I love their eye and lip concealer btw ;) ) and if you missed it, you can read my review HERE.
Darling Blue is a deep midnight blue with blue shimmer. This polish has so much depth, it's gorgeous! Formula was super easy to work with. I used 2 coats although it's nicely pigmented and almost opaque with 1 coat.
Métropolis is a perfect-for-fall kaki with Dior signature shimmer. Again formula was excellent and it was opaque in 2 coats.
I've already shown you Miroir in my previous post but I'm showing it here again (it didn't want to be left alone in a previous article) :D
Miroir is a silver foil with a very good pigmentation. It is opaque in 2 coats. Application requires more care than for Darling Blue and Métropolis but it's still very manageable.

Diorblush Cheek Stick in 845 Cosmopolite Pink

One of this collection's must-have product in my opinion is the new Diorblush Cheek Stick! Honestly, when I first saw the promotional pictures of this collection, I immediately knew I had to get one of these Cheek Sticks. The Cheek Sticks exist in 3 colors: coral, rosewood and baby pink. I decided to go for the baby pink stick for a youthful and innocent look.
ACCORDING TO DIOR:
"Diorblush Cheek Stick’s smooth texture blends softly and seamlessly onto the skin for a delicately-powdery finish that can be intensified to match your desired coverage. In shades that are perfect for fall makeup looks, its ultra-pigmented, powdery cream texture brings a chic touch of color to cheeks."
It applies like a cream blush and then settles beautifully with a
powdery matte finish. It's very easy to use. You can either takes a
little bit of color from the stick onto your finger and then apply it
onto your cheeks or apply it directly onto the cheeks. Personally, with
Cosmopolite Pink I prefer applying it directly onto the cheeks and then
blend it with a makeup sponge. I really like the fresh and lovely look
it gives!!
As you can see on the picture below, for such a color, it has a good pigmentation and you can easily add more layers if you want to add more color.
Overall I really love this fall collection from Dior. Concerning the makeup, there are 2 must-have items in my opinion: the DiorBlush Cheek Stick and the FIX IT Face, Eyes and Lips concealer (reviewed here).
The Blush is awesome when you don't have much time in the morning. It takes 15 seconds to appy and it gives a beautiful matte and natural effect. It's highly blendable and you can either go for a sheer glow or a more intense blush. The color Cosmopolite Pink is perfect for lighter skin tones to give a fresh and youthful complexion. I also love that it's compact and easily transportable. The only thing I don't like is that it is a limited edition product! I hope it will make its way into Dior permanent collection!
Concerning the nail polishes, I love the 3 of them but I must admit I have a soft spot for Darling Blue and Métropolis. Miroir is also great for nail art, to do stylish and original french manicures for example!
