Daniel Wellington - Classy Winchester

8:13 PM

Hello!

This week, time is going so fast and I can't believe it's already Thursday evening. I was quite busy and big news: I've been wanted to start learning Swiss German for a couple of months and I finally took my first lesson! :D

Anyway, back to the blog. Today I have a special article about Daniel Wellington. To tell the truth, I was contacted by the brand and asked if I wanted to review one of their watches. I've already been contacted by a few shops that sell watches in the past but always refused because I'm quite picky when it comes to watches (maybe a Swiss thing, who knows ;) ). However, Daniel Wellington's watches are different because they look really beautiful and have a simple and clean yet sophisticated look, which I really like.

The watch I chose is the Classy Winchester in Rose Gold (available here).

About the brand
Daniel Wellington is a Swedish company and here the story of the brand:

"The story behind Daniel Wellington begins with a trip half way around the globe where Filip Tysander, the founder of Daniel Wellington, met an intriguing gentleman from the British Isles. The man had the inspiring ability to be genteel but still relaxed and unpretentious. He had an impeccable style and loved to wear his watches on old weathered NATO straps. His name? Well, Daniel Wellington, of course.

A strong friendship emerged between the two, and Filip was inspired not only by the man's many great life stories but also by his class and timeless style of fashion.

The preppy trend is bigger than ever before but he felt that there was an empty space in the watch market. There was something missing and the Daniel Wellington team aims to fill that gap."

The design of the watches is minimalistic and without too many features, and it reflects a clean and elegant look. What is interesting is that you can choose between a leather or NATO strap and the straps are interchangeable. So if you have one watch, you can separately buy different straps to create different combinations and have different watches at a lower cost.

So overall, I like the clean and elegant design. And the NATO strap adds a very fun touch to the more luxurious look of the watch. The quality is also very nice and I love that you can easy change the strap!

What do you think of the watch? Do you like it as much as I do? And out of curiosity, how is the watch you're wearing at the moment?
