Cadillacquer - Seek The Fire Collection

I hope you all had a nice weekend. I'm sorry I haven't been able to upadate my blog very much recently. I've started a new job and have to organize myself better to find time to swatch and blog. But I think I'm back on track now!
Anyway today I have swatches of Cadillacquer new collection inspired by the PS3 game called “The Last of Us". I don't know the game so I don't get all the references of the polishes but I can still enjoy the beauty of them, right? ;D
I'm always excited when Cadillacquer comes with a new collection because I really like what Madeleine, the creator of the brand, does! That's why I'm very happy to share swatches of this new collection with you!!

Beyond The Walls is a "light taupe with blue shimmer, blue micro flakies and a subtle holographic effect". I really love the blue micro flakies and the shimmer in there. The micro flakies give an overall cloudy/dusty look to the shade. That's a very original twist to a neutral, work appropriate shade! I used 2 coats and formula was very nice, easy to apply.
By Night is a "dark blue with a subtle holo effect and fine blue flakies". The flakies are tiny, almost invisible but I guess they add depth to the polish. It's a very pretty shade that looks great with jeans so I'm sure I'll wear it soon! Formula was also excellent and I used 2 coats.
Not Alone is a "dark teal jelly with subtle copper and purple shimmer and small metallic copper glitters". I didn't expect to love it as much as I do but in fact, it's a very complex and goregeous polish! I absolutely adore the shimmer in it. The base color is a very dark teal, almost black looking. I used 3 coats because I took some macro shots but you can use only 2 coats to reach full opacity.
Seek The Fire is a "vibrant blue crelly with small metallic red glitters". OMG what a polish!! It's super original and gorgeous! I LOVE it! To me the base color is a dusty denim color and I really like this kind of blue! The blue base/red glitters is an amazing combo and cherry on the cake, I love when polishes have small glitters like in Seek The Fire! I used 2 coats and formula was again very nice!
She's One Of A Kind is a "very light grayish blue with magenta shimmer and a subtle holographic effect". This is another work appropriate shade, just as Beyond The Walls. To me the base color is a soft grey with a touch of baby blue in it. The shimmer is quite strong and more visible in real life than in my pictures. That's also a polish I'll enjoy wearing as a full manicure soon! I used 2 coats.
State Of Emergency "has a black base with strong red/copper shimmer and a subtle holographic effect". That's the perfect vampy polish! I actually wore this baby last week and loved it so much!! I used 2 coats.
Survivor is a "darker purple crelly with different sized periwinkle glitters". This is one of my favorites from this collection! It's just too pretty!! I used 3 coats.
The Journey has a "blueish grey base color with strong green shimmer, green sparkles and a subtle holographic effect". Another one with an awesome shimmer, very pretty shade! It was a bit sheer on the first coat but it was opaque in 2 coats.
The Woods is a "bright green with gold shimmer and a subtle holographic effect". I just love green polishes at the moment and this one is awesome! I love the base color and subtle holo effect! That's another favorite of me! I used 2 coats.
Overall, that's a wonderful collection with lots of different colors and finishes (holo, glitter, shimmer, bright, dark, and neutral colors). As usual with Cadillacquer, I'm in love with most if not all the shades. It's hard to pick a favorite because I love them all, but if I have to chose it would be Survivor (the purple jelly), Seek Of Fire (blue with red glitters), The Woods (green), She's One Of A Kind (light grey with shimmer), and State Of Emergency (dark base with red/copper shimmer). Formula was very good for all of them. Now I can't wait to wear them as full manicures!!
